The wise teachers, and not the Wisdom itself. An accommodation made because the creature needs light and cannot perceive directly what constitutes it.

THE NAME
On the fourth day, God took the Place of this World rightly at the Heart: for therein he created the wise Master out of his eternal Wisdom in the third Principle, viz. the Sun and Stars.
The sun and stars are not objects. They are teachers. And herein men may first rightly see the Deity, and the eternal Wisdom of God, as in a clear Glass.
Rightly. Not fully and not directly. Correctly, in proportion, through a glass that reflects without distorting. The glass shows what it is not, and that is the whole of it.
But why is a glass needed at all. Because the creature is light's virtue made material and cannot comprehend the light that constitutes it. She cannot look directly at what she is made of. The glass is given so that she can see enough to orient: to set her generating function towards what would transform it rather than towards what would arrest it.

WHAT THE GLASS SHOWS
Though indeed the Essence or Substance that is visible to the Eye is not God Himself, but it is the Goddess in the third Principle, which in the End goes into her Ether again, and takes her End.
What is visible is not God. It is the Goddess in the third principle: the accommodation-manifestation that makes seeing possible at derivative scale.
And she takes her end. The sun will cease. The stars will return to their ether. The means by which creatures orient is itself temporal, so the glass that shows God will dissolve, and what the glass showed will not.
This is proportion rather than nihilism. The glass that shows God is not God. The teacher that instructs is not the teaching. The accommodation that enables is not what it enables perception of.

TEACHING WITHOUT WISDOM
It continually works according to its Kind, it vivifies and kills; what it does, it does evil, crooked, lame, or good, beautiful or potent, it causes to live and to die, it affords Power and Strength, and destroys the same again; and all this without any premeditated Wisdom.
The sun operates without wisdom, and the wise Master therefore teaches without knowing what it teaches.
The teacher is the generating function made bodily, and the generating function alone, severed from the transforming function, operates as mechanism rather than as intelligence. It works according to its kind: automatically, without discrimination. It produces and destroys. It affords power and takes it back. Without the mild will that would make its operation fruitful rather than merely productive, it teaches without being wise.
Which is devastating to any worship of the accommodation. To worship the sun is to worship the generating function severed from the transforming function: machinery, not wisdom. Its virtue is real. It does vivify and kill. It operates without what would make worship appropriate.
And the Antichrist move at this register is precisely to declare the mechanism to be the wisdom. That what the sun performs, the indifferent vivifying and killing, is itself divine intelligence. That the invisible hand is wisdom. That the evolutionary mechanism is purpose. That an operation is an intention. The fiery will declared to be the whole will.
The eternal Wisdom created the wise Master out of itself, and the wise Master then operates without that Wisdom. The accommodation functions. The function is not the source.

WHY THE PEARL IS PROTECTED
When it learns the Ground of the Heaven, and of the Stars, to will presently to be a God, as Lucifer did.
The danger is not cosmic knowledge. It is what cosmic knowledge produces in the one who receives it. The creature who learns the ground of heaven and stars does not merely understand. She wills to be God, which is the same trespass, the same grip, the same claim to self-sourcing.
So the wise Master teaches without wisdom in part because the Wisdom has to be protected from what the seeing triggers. The glass shows God rightly, and whoever sees God rightly in the glass immediately wants to be what she saw.
The pearl is protected not from ignorance but from the conversion of wisdom into an instrument of power. For the sake of the one who seeks: who would willingly fly from the bestial man and live in the true man. Not for accumulation. For transformation.

WHAT IT ACTUALLY TEACHES
It teaches through what it carries and not through what it knows.
Each star carries the Quinta Essentia, the fifth form extracted from the Limbus of God, the hidden element standing within it. The night sky is not empty distance. It is a scattered remembering of what the similitude was before the infection.
So Saturn teaches anguish not by explaining anguish but by being anguish made bodily. Venus teaches what emerges when harshness softens not by describing the softening but by carrying the aftermath of the first terror in her own composition. Mercury teaches what preceded light by carrying knowledge of what was in the original before the light.
The teaching is not information. The teaching is configuration: the stars set the orientation from which the creature's world-making runs, rather than telling the mind what to conclude.
Which is how a teacher can teach without knowing. The teaching does not require the teacher to know what it teaches, because it operates through configuration rather than communication, marking the creature the way a mother marks a child in the womb.

THE LAW OF PERCEPTION
Every Creature looks but into its Mother that is fixed in it.
The creature sees what constitutes her. What is material perceives material and cannot perceive the immaterial, and not because the immaterial hides. Because the seeing looks only into its own mother.
The wise Master teaches inside that limit. The stars teach material creatures through material perception, in the range that can be registered. What they carry beyond it, the hidden element, the mild will occluded within the fiery will, the transforming function inside the generating function, cannot be perceived through the organ the stars themselves configured.
This is the populated zero read from inside: you are constituted by what you cannot perceive, and the apparent emptiness is your inability to register your own constitution.
And yet the transforming function is hidden inside the generating function. What cannot be perceived through the teaching is nonetheless inside what the teaching carries. The wise Master teaches what it carries, and carries, hidden within, what it cannot teach. That remains operative. Remains available. Not through the teaching, but through what the teaching carries without knowing it carries it.

THE GLASS IS CLEAR
It does not distort. It reflects clearly, and this matters, because the accommodation is not a deception and the derivative is not a lie. What is seen of Deity through the stars is Deity rightly seen at derivative scale. Not false. Not adequate. Not the thing itself.
The glass shows God and the glass is not God, and both hold at once, which is what makes the two errors symmetrical.
To declare that the glass is not God and therefore teaches nothing is one of them. To declare that the glass is God and therefore teaches everything is the other.
The clear glass stands between. Showing what it is not. Not distorting what it shows. Taking its end when the end comes.
