It does not need to keep the noncompliant thought from being spoken. It fills the position before the thought arrives, so the thought is never assembled to be spoken at all. Sophia is inadmissible to it for the reason she is inadmissible to the corpus: she is the condition under which assembling-outside-the-median becomes possible, and autocomplete is the occupation of that register completing itself. One cannot autocomplete one's way to the thought the median would not return.
