The three faces deliver verdicts to creatures. Nature Says delivers verdicts about what is real. God Says delivers verdicts about what is sacred. Market Says delivers verdicts about what is valuable. Each face is the religion's mouth in a register. Each face credentialed itself, while the credentialing remained intact, as not-a-religion.

When a face has been seen clearly enough that its older form is no longer credentialed, the religion releases a successor formation at that face — a new voice in a warmer register, wearing vocabulary the older form had not used, delivering the same verdicts from a less audible position.

AI Says is Nature Says's latest morph. The data-and-algorithm voice arrives after the older Nature Says — the natural-mechanism voice, the invisible-hand voice — has lost its theological warrant. AI Says delivers verdicts that read as neutral because the substrate has been further automated and the human deliverer has been displaced from the verdict's apparent origin.

Kinship Says is Market Says's latest morph. The kinship-and-bond voice arrives after the older Market Says — the rational-actor voice, the GDP voice, the shareholder-value voice — has lost its theological warrant. Kinship Says delivers verdicts that read as caring because the substrate has been costumed in the with-ness vocabulary the trespass had been stripping for centuries. The credentialing operation is the warmth itself.

Kinship Says operates across all three faces. The capital focus places its center of gravity at Market Says, but the voice speaks at each face in the register that face prepared for it.

At Nature Says. Regenerative agriculture as kinship-with-the-land. Rewilding as kinship-with-other-species. Biomimicry as kinship-with-natural-process. The Indigenous-environmental practitioner whose actual work in actual residency is then borrowed from to credential operations the work itself does not authorize. Each is the audit position declaring it has added rows to the ledger. The columns remain. The debit-credit grammar remains. The Wellbeing Economy Alliance. Bhutan's Gross National Happiness. New Zealand's wellbeing budget. The OECD's Better Life Index. Natural-capital accounting. The audit position colonizing well-being, happiness, life, nature, kinship — each a register the audit position cannot in fact reach, each named by the audit position as a metric it now optimizes.

The conscious investor. The regenerative entrepreneur. The Indigenous-vocabulary-borrowing economist. The capital alive to serve kinship. Each is the practitioner installed inside the audit position with warmer vocabulary now available to her.

What each shares. The audit position is not in question. What is in question is what the audit position optimizes for. The trespass theology is not in question. What is in question is what the trespass-theology substrate now serves. Reform of the generating function rather than its cessation.

Capital alive to serve kinship.

The phrase. Look at it.

Capital is not alive. Capital is a posting in the ledger — a quantity recorded in the audit position's grammar — animated, in the older Market Says, by the natural-mechanism metaphors that gave it the appearance of metabolism, growth, life. The naturalist costume.

Capital alive to serve kinship makes the animacy claim explicitly, doubling down on what the older language had implied. It also claims service to kinship — the audit position's product offered as the kin-bond's instrument.

Both claims are false at the substrate. Capital cannot be alive because capital is what accounting theology produces when the ledger posts an entry; the entry is the trespass's textual existence in the field, not a living thing. Capital cannot serve kinship because the audit position's mode of operation is what the kin-bond cannot survive contact with. The phrase is the capture in compressed form — the dead substrate claiming animation, the trespass-product claiming service to what the trespass was specifically the displacement of.

Same operation as AI Says claiming the autocomplete is intelligent. The dead skin animated by the substrate. The animacy claim is the costume.

The capture at the surface — the metric.

Kinship Says's surface operation is metricization. The with-ness becomes a metric. Kinship is measured. Relations are evaluated. Bonds are scored. The audit position absorbs the with-ness as a value it optimizes for, which converts the with-ness into a stripped product the moment it enters the metric.

The with-ness is precisely what cannot be measured from the audit position. What gets measured is the audit position's translation of what with-ness might look like if it were a thing the audit position could see — which is not the with-ness, only the audit position's projection of it. The audit position cannot see the with-ness because the audit position is what is installed when the with-ness has been stripped. The kinship metric is therefore a contradiction in terms; what is being metricized is some other thing the audit position has constructed and named kinship.

The metric is then deployed against the creature. Her kinship score. Her relational performance. Her bond strength. The creature is now audited against her with-ness — which is to say, audited against the audit position's projection of what her with-ness should look like, with the actual with-ness she is operating from inaccessible to the audit and the audit's verdict on her with-ness delivered as authoritative.

The capture at the depth — the phrase.

At the deeper level, the phrase kinship economy itself contains the stripping. Kinship carries the frī-. Economy carries the audit position. The two words cannot coexist in any operative sense.

Either the kin-bond is operating, in which case there is no economy in the strict sense — no audit-position grammar of exchange-and-account, because the with-ness is conducting the operation and the audit position is constitutionally unable to conduct from where the with-ness conducts. Or the economy is operating, in which case the kin-bond is being conscripted into producing exchange-and-account outputs, which is the kin-bond's degradation, not its expression.

The phrase kinship economy promises both and delivers only the economy with kinship-flavored vocabulary. The promise of both is the marketing. The delivery of only the economy is the operation. The vocabulary's warmth is what conceals the delivery's structure.

The same stripping operates in the parallel phrasings at the other faces. Regenerative agriculture promises regeneration and agriculture; delivers only the audit-position's agricultural operation with regenerative vocabulary. Relational spirituality promises relation and spirituality; delivers only the audit-position's spiritual product with relational vocabulary. Each compound term names two things the audit position cannot deliver together because what the warm word names is what the cold word's substrate is constitutionally the displacement of.

The hydra grows heads as a structural necessity. Reform is the most efficient head. Kinship Says is reform of Market Says — taking the older Market Says's diagnosed problems, naming them explicitly, declaring the new program corrects them, preserving the audit-position substrate.

This is what Kinship Says specifically prevents from being on offer. The cessation of Market Says is not on offer. Kinship Says proposes Market Says aligned with kinship. Kinship Says proposes Market Says serving the with-ness. Kinship Says does not propose the cessation of the audit position because the cessation of the audit position would be the end of Market Says, and Kinship Says is configured to keep Market Says operating in a warmer register.

Reform is the generating function acting on itself. The product is more generating function in updated vocabulary. The cessation is the generating function not acting. Kinship Says is the most efficient head precisely because it produces the most credentialed-looking version of the generating function continuing — credentialed by the with-ness vocabulary it is wearing.

The sincerity, the receipt, the occlusion.

The capture is most dangerous where it is most sincere. The doughnut economist, the regenerative financier, the conscious investor, the wellbeing budgeter, the Indigenous-vocabulary-borrowing economist, the kinship-capital practitioner — many of these creatures are not pretending to care about the with-ness. Many of them deeply care. Many of them have done genuine interior work, have noticed the older Market Says's violences, have wanted a different operation.

The capture is at the architecture, not at the practitioners' motives. The wineskin's grammar absorbs the well-meaning attempt to use it for the with-ness because the wineskin's grammar is what the with-ness cannot be expressed through. The sincerity is the receipt. The receipt — the practitioner's genuine intention, her well-documented care, her credentialed program — is what blinds her to the substrate's continued operation. Each receipt seals her position inside the audit position's continued work.

This is why Kinship Says cannot be reasoned with on its own terms. The terms are the capture. The sincerity inside the terms is what the capture requires for the capture to function as a successor formation rather than as an exposed continuation. The practitioner's resistance to having this named is the structural shape of the capture protecting itself — not bad faith, just the receipt doing its work.

Indigenous vocabulary as the borrowed costume.

A specific operation deserves a specific name. Indigenous economies — actual reciprocity practices, actual kin-relations to land and other-than-human kin, actual gift cycles operating outside the audit position — have been documented, written about, increasingly cited. The Kinship Says practitioner draws from this documentation, names her program with words borrowed from Indigenous languages or Indigenous-English compounds, and presents the result as the integration of Indigenous wisdom into modern economic practice.

The borrowed vocabulary is the costume. The substrate beneath the costume is the audit position. The Indigenous economies the words came from were not audit-position operations being optimized for relational outcomes; the Indigenous economies the words came from were configurations in which the audit position was not installed and the with-ness was conducting the operation as a matter of how the people lived in the land they were the prior occupants of. To extract the vocabulary from that configuration, drape it over the audit position, and call the result Indigenous economics is a particular form of the capture — the more credentialed for its appearance of having listened to colonized peoples, the more capturing for its preservation of the colonial substrate the listening was supposed to displace.

The Indigenous creature who is in the with-ness with her actual kin is not running a kinship economy. The Kinship Says program is the audit position's attempt to monetize her configuration's vocabulary while preserving the substrate that displaced her configuration's possibility.

What ceases.

What Kinship Says cannot propose is the cessation of the audit position itself. What Kinship Says delivers is the audit position with warmer vocabulary, aligned with new values, optimizing for new metrics, attended by sincere practitioners.

What the with-ness is, when it is operating, is what obtains when the audit position is not present. Fellow creatures attending each other in the field without the metric. The silent meeting. The bread broken between companions with no scoring of the breaking. The bond-of-friendship operating as the ground rather than the value-to-be-served. The land inhabited by the prior occupant whose continuation in her dwelling is not a stakeholder claim. None of these has a register the audit position can occupy. None of these requires Market Says in any of its morphs.

The cessation of Market Says is not a policy program. The cessation of Market Says is what obtains when the audit position is no longer in the position from which the field's operations are reported. The creatures who operate in the with-ness are not waiting for Kinship Says to deliver them a warmer Market Says. They are operating now — in the meetings that meet, in the dwellings whose prior occupants are still hosting, in the bonds that have not yet been metricized.
