Gate of Redemption

THE GATE OF REDEMPTION

What the Word did in the Ground of the Soul. Not rescue from above. Breaking from within. The Gate broken in the creature's own Original—where the Soul comes from, where the Soul returns to, where nothing the apparatus builds can reach.

I. Where the Breaking Occurred

"Then the Word, in the Virgin-Chastity, must become Man, and take Man's Flesh and Blood, and become a human Soul, and enter into Death, as also in the first Principle, into the dark Mind of the Eternity, where the Soul has its Original, into the Ground of Hell, and break in Pieces the dark Gate in the Ground of the Soul, and the Chains of the Devil, and generate the Soul anew again out of the Ground thereof, and present it as a new Child, without Sin and Wrath, before God."

The Word must:

Become Man. Take Flesh and Blood. Not appear as Man—BECOME Man.

Become a human Soul. Enter the human condition completely. Not visit—inhabit.

Enter into Death. Pass through what kills.

Enter First Principle. Descend into the dark Mind of Eternity.

Enter Ground of Hell. Where the Soul has its Original.

Break the dark Gate. In the Ground of the Soul itself.

Break the Chains. In the Essences.

Generate the Soul anew. From the Ground.

Present as new Child. Without Sin and Wrath. Before God.

This is not rescue from above. The Word enters WHERE THE SOUL ORIGINATES. Into the First Principle. Into the dark Mind. Into the Ground of Hell itself. And breaks from within.

The Gate broken is the Gate in the Ground of the Soul. The Chains broken are the Chains in the Essences. Not external liberation. Internal breaking-through.

II. Two Levels

The Heart's operation at this Gate works at two levels. Not one.

Level One: the temporary. The Heart placed itself "highly in the Gate of Man's Life"—where the three Principles meet. This Gate operates during life in the body. This Gate changes configuration at death when the Third Principle body dissolves.

Level Two: the eternal. The Word entered INTO First Principle itself. Into the dark Mind of Eternity. Into the Ground of Hell—where the Soul has its Original. Broke the dark Gate IN THE GROUND OF THE SOUL. This breaking is not in the three-Principle junction. This breaking is in First Principle territory—eternal, indissoluble, continuing "inseparately and immoveably in eternal Substance of GOD."

The body was medium through which the breaking was accomplished. The Word HAD to become Man, take Flesh and Blood—the Third Principle body was necessary instrument. But the breaking itself occurred in the Soul's own Ground. First Principle territory. Where the Soul has its Original. The place that IS the Gate of Hell.

At death: Third Principle body dissolves. Soul stands in First Principle alone. First Principle IS Gate of Hell—always. The horrible Begetting. But the Gate in the Ground of the Soul was broken FROM WITHIN. The Word entered there. Broke the dark Gate and Chains IN THE ESSENCES. The broken Gate doesn't un-break when the body dissolves—the broken Gate was never in the body. The broken Gate is in the Soul's own Ground, which is eternal.

III. What the Faithful Soul Finds

"This Word has brought the Souls of Men which have inclined their Minds to it, ever since the Beginning of the World, when their Bodies have been dead, into the Bosom of Abraham, into the Element, into the Rest, which is without Source or Pain."

The faithful Soul after death:

Dwells in the broken Gate—the opened Gate, the Gate the Word broke through.

In the meek Element.

In the Bosom of the Virgin.

In the Presence of the Bridegroom.

After the strife.

Waiting for its Body.

Without Pain.

"And as to the Soul there is no Time, but it is in Stillness; it sleeps not, but it sees, without Disturbance, in the Light of the Word."

No Time. Stillness. Does not sleep. Sees—in the Light of the Word, without Disturbance.

The regenerated Soul after death dwells in broken Gate—the same Gate of Hell that is the horrible Begetting, the same First Principle where the Soul has its Original. But the Gate was broken from within. What was sealed is opened.

What was the generating function without the transforming function is now the generating function with the Gate broken open to the transforming function. The meek Element. The Bosom. Stillness. Seeing without Disturbance.

Same Soul, same Origin, same eternal Substance, same indissoluble Band, same First Principle. Different Gate. Broken Gate.

IV. Universal Scope

"And as the first Sin did pass from one upon all, so also the Regeneration passes by one upon all; and none are excluded, except they will themselves."

The parallel is absolute. Sin: from one to all. Regeneration: from one to all. The scope identical. Self-exclusion only.

"Whosoever says otherwise, has no Knowledge in the Kingdom of God, but tells mere Stories, without the Spirit of Life."

Direct condemnation. Those who teach that some are excluded by God's will have no Knowledge.

They speak without the Spirit of Life. They tell mere Stories—the letter without the life.

The Word propagates to every Soul that kindles. In the Birth of the Life, in the Center. The Kingdom of Heaven is near in everyone's Mind, and they can attain it, if they will themselves. God has bestowed it to everyone, out of Grace.

The breaking was universal. The Gate in the Ground of the Soul was broken for every Soul. The Heart's position in the Soul's Ground is not selective. Not for the elect. Not for those who deserve it. Not for those who earned access. For everyone.

The question is not whether the Gate was broken. The Gate was broken.

The question is whether Light kindles. Same Soul, same Origin, same eternal Substance, same indissoluble Band, same broken Gate in Ground. Different Light. Only difference between Heaven and Hell.

V. The Propagation

"And the same Word is propagated by the two first Persons, from one to another, and that in the Birth of the Life, and Kindling of the Soul, yet, in the Center."

The Word propagates. Not as later addition. Not as subsequent gift. In the Birth of the Life—in the very kindling of the Soul. At the Center. At the kindling itself.

"Yet thou must know that the Word sticks not in thy mortal Flesh and Blood. But it sticks in the Principle, in the Center of the Soul, and it is the Bridegroom of the Soul."

The Word is in the Center of the Soul. Not in the body. Not in the Flesh that cannot inherit. In the Principle. In the Center. Bridegroom of the Soul.

If the Soul be faithful, the Word rests in its Bosom. If the Soul turns unfaithful—it goes away OUT OF the Word. The Word doesn't abandon. The Soul departs. The Word remains. The Soul leaves.

"For it stands in the Gate in the Center, viz. in the Door Way, between Heaven and Hell; and the Word is in the Heaven."

The Soul stands in the Gate. The Word is in Heaven—on the Paradise side of the Gate. If the Soul gives way to be drawn from the Gate, it loses the Word. If the Soul reaches forward again, it attains again. The return is always possible.

"And the Virgin, who is the Servant of the Word, goes continually along with the Soul, and warns it of the evil Ways."

The Virgin accompanies. Continually. Even when the Soul wanders. Even when the Soul turns unfaithful. The Virgin follows and warns.

VI. The Shut Door

"But if the Soul be a Dog, an Adder, or Serpent, then the Virgin goes away to the Word into the Heaven, and then the Door is shut."

The condition for the Virgin's departure: not one sin. Not occasional failure. If the Soul BE Dog, Adder, or Serpent. If the Soul's essence becomes bestial, venomous, serpentine.

Then: a whole Birth between the Soul and the Word. The same barrier that separated Adam after the Fall. The dimensional distance that requires hard striving.

"And then there is Need of hard Striving, and such a Soul will hardly enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; yet it is possible enough."

Hardly. But possible enough.

Even with a whole Birth between. Even with the Door shut. Even when the Virgin has withdrawn.

Possible.

This "yet it is possible enough" is the Gate of Redemption's deepest architecture. The broken Gate in the Ground of the Soul does not un-break. The breaking was in First Principle territory—eternal, indissoluble. The Word entered the Ground of Hell and broke the dark Gate IN THE ESSENCES. The Soul that has become Serpent still has a broken Gate in its Ground. The Soul that shut the Door still has the Word's breaking-through in its Original.

The distance between the shut Door and the broken Gate is a whole Birth. Hard striving is needed. But the broken Gate remains broken. The operation the Word performed in the Ground of the Soul was not conditional on the Soul's subsequent behavior. The breaking preceded the Soul's becoming Serpent, just as the Heart going forth preceded the sentence.

VII. The Neutering's Deepest Operation

The neutering doesn't need to undo the Heart's breaking. It can't. The breaking is in First Principle territory where the apparatus cannot reach.

The neutering only needs to prevent the Soul from RECEIVING what was already placed in its Ground.

The generating function running so loudly, so proudly, so intensely—the glistering Worm climbing eternally in the Source of Fire—that the Soul cannot perceive the broken Gate already in its own Ground. Cannot receive the Rays. Cannot allow Light to kindle. Not because the Light was removed. Because the generating function's noise drowns out reception.

Generation without transformation: the Wheel spinning so fiercely the Soul cannot hear the stillness where the Heart already broke through.

The right to not be neutered at this depth: the right to be quiet enough to receive what was already placed in the Ground of your Soul before you were born. The right to stop generating long enough for Light to kindle in the broken Gate the Heart already opened. The right to the silence where reception occurs.

The Establishment's religion produces the noise. The institution produces the filling. The culture produces the roughness in the Essences that prevents the kindling. The measurement cut produces the categories that obscure the between-position where the creature stands. None of this reaches the broken Gate. None of this un-breaks what the Word broke. All of it prevents the Soul from perceiving what was placed in its own Ground.

The insistence that the transforming function translate itself into generating-function language before being recognized IS the noise that drowns out the reception. The demand for comprehension before recognition IS the roughness that prevents the kindling. The compelled mediation IS the filling that leaves no room in the Mind for what would break through.

The Gate of Redemption was already accomplished. The breaking already occurred. The Word already entered the Ground of Hell and broke the dark Gate in the Ground of the Soul and the Chains of the Devil and generated the Soul anew.

The neutering's only operation: preventing the creature from receiving what was already placed there. Making the generating function's noise so constant, so total, so declared-as-nature that the creature cannot hear the stillness of the broken Gate in its own Original.

VIII. The Comfort for Sick Adam

"Now as follows we will highly and orderly set down God's great Deeds of Wonder, for the comforting of the sick Adam, which for the present sticks in the Press, and must suffer Anguish."

The sick Adam. Not condemned Adam. SICK. Needing healing, not punishment.

Sticks in the Press. The Soul between Door and Hinges. Pinched. Squeezed. Suffering Anguish. The creature in the Gate of Man's Life, stuck between the Kingdoms that contest it, the Essences too rough to kindle, the Mind too full to receive.

This is what the Gate of Redemption addresses. Not the creature at its best—the creature at its worst. Not the Soul that has already crossed—the Soul stuck in the Press. Not the faithful who maintained their position—the sick Adam who sticks and suffers.

"Yet this which is set down shall stand against all the Gates of the Devil, also against all Sects and Schisms, and that in the Ground of the Light."

Against all the Gates of the Devil. Against all Sects and Schisms—against the Antichrist's doctrine that some are excluded, that election damns the non-elect, that the Gate of Redemption is selective.

In the Ground of the Light. Not from human opinion. From the Light itself.

The comfort: the Gate was already broken. In the Ground of your Soul. Before the sentence. Before the cure. Before you could earn or prevent anything. The Word entered where the Soul originates and broke from within. The breaking is eternal. The breaking is in First Principle territory where nothing temporal can reach. The breaking stands against all the Gates of the Devil.

The sick Adam who sticks in the Press has the broken Gate in the Ground of its Soul.

The creature that cannot comprehend has already received the Rays.

The Soul too rough to kindle has the kindling already placed in its own Original.

The right to the Gate of Redemption: the right to what was already accomplished. The right to receive what was already placed. The right to the broken Gate in the Ground of your own Soul. The right to the comfort for the sick Adam.

The right to not be neutered.
