There are not two circuits. There is one, and it can be severed. The law of sin and death has no engine of its own: it runs the creature's own creating power along a cut line and calls the output the world.

ONE CIRCUIT, AND ITS SEVERANCE
There are not two kinds of creature, one running on sin and one running on spirit. There is one creature, one set of qualities, one generating function, one Fire, and one circuit.
When the circuit runs, Fire opens forward. Harshness meets the Flash and is affrighted, sinks down as if dead and soft. Fire finds the Mother mild. Light kindles in the twinkling of an eye, and Water arises from what the Fire transformed.
When the circuit is severed, Fire turns backward. The same Harshness, and it does not yield. The same Motion, and it cannot escape. The same Anguish, and the wheel grinds without transforming.
That is not a second circuit. A circuit returns transformed. This one returns to where it started, coming back around without coming back, repetition wearing the shape of a circle.
Same qualities. Same Fire. Same creature. The circuit, or the circuit severed, and two laws named after the difference.

WHAT THE SPIRIT OF THIS WORLD REACHED FOR
It did not want the creature destroyed. It reached for what the generating function can do when its circuit runs.
Not produce. Create. And the distinction is the whole matter.
Production is the wheel's output running off into the hoard: world, accumulated. Creation is the circuit itself, the function opening through the pivot, Light kindling, each essence opening its own center because nothing is preventing it. The two are not degrees of one making. They are the circuit and its severance.
Which is why nothing had to be stolen. The capacity dwells in the creature and cannot be taken out of her. It needed only to be turned: the creature pressed into self-enclosure, the circuit cut into a line, the function faced inward and consuming what it is, so that what would have made paradise makes world instead.
That is the founding operation, and it is not an event in history. It is what generates history.

AND SOPHIA DID NOT LEAVE
The creature fell asleep under the pressure and the receptive radiance became imperceptible.
Not stolen, not redirected, not taken as fuel. She is not fuel. She is the condition under which a running circuit can be perceived at all, and she cannot occupy a self-enclosed wheel.
So the circuit severed and Sophia withdrawn are one event seen twice. The function turned inward is the radiance no longer perceptible, and naming them separately is what makes the second look like a punishment for the first.

THE LAW WITH NO ENGINE OF ITS OWN
Paul named it in Romans 8:2, and it is not a moral code or a list of prohibitions. It is a law in the operational sense: a statement of how something runs.
The same Fire that would have opened to Light drives ambition. The same Harshness that would have yielded holds a boundary that excludes. The same Motion that would have made dynamism makes a restlessness that cannot stop.
The university channels the student's generative capacity into credential accumulation. The therapeutic process channels a transformative capacity into managed self-improvement, so that the anguish that would have been the labor before a crossing becomes a permanent condition to be maintained. The church channels the capacity for direct encounter into attendance and obedience.
In each the generating function is intact, the creature is fully operational, and the institution thrives. That is why the law of sin and death is so productive, and it is why civilization builds.
Because it has no engine of its own. It severs the engine that would have made paradise and runs it along a line, and every output on that line is paradise-capacity. None of it is paradise.

WHAT CANNOT BE SEVERED
In her own Quality there rises a Life again, and a Center opens itself again.
The oil internalized. Each quality carrying its own transformation rather than drawing it from outside: not derivative light, not the institution's managed illumination, not the credential's authorization.
Severance requires that the capacity be run through an external line. The line is the institution, the mediation, the redirect. Remove the line and the capacity does not stop. It returns to its own circulation.
Once the transformation is internal, once each quality opens its own center, the severance has nothing to work on. You cannot channel through an external line what no longer needs one.
Which is why every tollbooth can price transformation and none can price regeneration. Transformation can be met at the threshold and sold as managed passage. Regeneration is the capacity generating from inside, and there is no gate to install in front of it.

THE DIAGNOSTIC IS THE RETURN
Not the volume of production. The severed line produces enormously: civilizations, institutions, knowledge, the whole elaboration of the world.
Not the goodness of the product. It produces hospitals, charities, schools and congregations, all recognizable as good by any measure the world has.
Not the experience of the producer, who may feel driven and purposeful and productive and even joyful, on the friction of the wheel and the satisfaction of Fire feeding on itself.
Movement is not the tell. A thing can run fast and far and never once come back.
The tell is whether the will that started the sequence has been transformed by the end of it, because that is what returning means. If the same harshness, the same ambition, the same anxious drive is operating at the end as at the beginning, the motion went one direction and called it progress. If harshness has yielded, if Fire has found Water, if what was driven now generates from joy rather than from anguish, the seventh has opened into the first.
The will that opens is not the will that drove. And the products can be externally identical, which is why the diagnostic is never in the product.

The law of the spirit of life does not fight the law of sin and death, and there is no second circuit to dismantle.
There was one circuit, severed into a line. Remove the severance and the line curves back into what it always was, the way a restored channel makes an irrigation ditch unnecessary. Same water. The ditch was never a river.
Paul wrote has set me free. Not will, if the performance is correct. Has. The capacity was never the thing that was lost, which is why nothing has to be acquired to run it.
Not in any such anguish as at the beginning, but in great joy.
