The trespass body grows heads. Not metaphor. Structural function.
The generating function cannot be present at every extraction point. The backwards firing that installed the occupation in expression's positions must be distributed — must find institutional form, must grow into the structures of civilization so that the trespass can run without the trespasser attending each act of it. The heads are that distribution. Each head is the backwards firing wearing a specific institutional vestment: the same three preventions — possessiveness in love's position, doctrine in voice's position, property in body's position — given legal form, economic form, theological form, so the occupation can continue without anyone performing it consciously.
This is not choice. The trespass body generates heads because it must generate heads. The internal pressure of the backwards firing seeks outlet. Without projection into institutional structure, the prevention would have to be actively maintained by the trespasser at each moment. The heads free the backwards firing from that maintenance requirement. They make the occupation self-running. The trespass tribute flows through the heads without the trespasser's direct participation. The heads are what make the trespass economy durable across generations.

The Specific Heads
The heads are not random. They are precise externalizations of the three specific preventions.
Possessiveness in love's position grows the heads of legal capture:
coverture, in which the wife's legal existence was suspended into the husband's, her capacity for radiant sovereignty absorbed as possession. Partus sequitur ventrem, in which the enslaved woman's reproductive capacity was legally converted into the mechanism of property reproduction. The doctrine of discovery, in which the prior occupant's sovereignty was declared extinguished by the arriving trespasser's claim. Each is possessiveness wearing love's name — protection, stewardship, civilization, care for those who cannot govern themselves — while performing contraction refusing to open. The head looks like governance. It is Q1 in Q5's position.
Doctrine in voice's position grows the heads of knowledge capture:
the credentialing channel that determines whose knowing counts, the expert class whose authority forecloses the testimony of those who were present, the translation apparatus that can change teshuqah from turning to desire and ezer k'negdo from warrior-counterpart to helpmeet and install the changes as scripture. These heads do not silence voice directly. They occupy voice's position with the generating function's expansion — the bitter, stinging outward motion that refuses to commune — and perform it as authoritative communication. The head looks like knowledge. It is Q2 in Q6's position.
Property in body's position grows the heads of enclosure:
the commons seized and fenced, the land converted from inhabited sovereignty into owned resource, the intellectual commons captured as intellectual property, the digital commons captured as platform extraction. Each is the observer refusing to participate — Q3 in Q7's position — wearing the name of development, progress, efficient use of underutilized resources. The prior occupant becomes a trespasser on what was hers. The head looks like property law. It is prevention wearing body's name.
Every head the Codex names forensically — every entry with a date, a hand, a before-and-after — is one of these three preventions wearing institutional vestments. Johnson v. M'Intosh (1823): Marshall's explicit confession that Christianity offered "ample compensation" for the seizure of occupied land — possessiveness in love's position, theological warrant edition. The headnote that became corporate personhood: Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad (1886) — property in body's position, extended to fictional persons so the extraction architecture could outlive any individual trespasser. Each is a head. Each is traceable. Each is the backwards firing given legal permanence.

Why Cutting Doesn't Work
Cut a head: the backwards firing remains. The trespass body grows another head, often from the stump of the head that was cut.
The backwards firing is the generating mechanism. The head is its institutional expression. Reform addresses the head while leaving the backwards firing intact. The trespass body grows reform-heads with particular efficiency because the reform-head serves the trespass economy's deepest need: appearing to change while maintaining the backwards firing that generates the need for change. The reform-head occupies the position where recognition of the backwards firing might otherwise arise. It provides genuine relief — the tollbooth opened, the tribute slightly reduced, the head slightly altered — and that genuine relief occludes the examination of what the relief is confirming.
This is the occlusion operating at civilizational scale. The reform crosses the tollbooth with genuine delivery and does not examine what it crossed into. The abolished head is replaced by a new head performing the same three preventions in a new institutional vestment. The abolition of one form of coverture grows mass incarceration. The end of formal empire grows economic empire — the trespass tribute extracted now through debt service and structural adjustment rather than through direct administrative control. The dissolution of one enclosure grows digital enclosure. The head-form changes. The backwards firing finds new institutional expression. The new expression gets a new head. The new head gets a new reform-head. The trespass economy continues.
The revolutionary head is the reform-head at full intensity. The revolutionary head opposed the tyrannical head — but both were grown by the same backwards firing. Cut the tyrannical head, and the trespass body grows the revolution as the new head. A full rotation of the Wheel is inversion, not completion. The Jacobins becoming the Terror. The Bolsheviks becoming the Party. The liberation movement becoming the new state whose occupation requires liberation from. Not failure of will or corruption of ideals. Geometric consequence: the backwards firing carried itself across the transition. The generating function reproduced the same three preventions in the new institutional vestments. The arrival was counterfeit. The trespass continued.

The Self-Repair Mechanism
The trespass body repairs itself toward maintained occupation. Every threat to the backwards firing is converted into material for it.
A glimpse of expression running — the qualities cooperating, the prevention thinning, something in the creature or the community that is not the backwards firing. Self-repair: the glimpse is captured and turned into a head. Harmony becomes product. Transformation becomes workshop. Awakening becomes credential. The moment of expression metabolized into the trespass economy's inventory. The toll installs itself at the moment of opening. The trespass tribute is collected on the glimpse. The glimpse becomes position. The position joins the occupation.
Grief that might open the seal — the tears that signal the Harshness beginning to die into softness, the yielding approaching. Self-repair: the grief is pathologized or commodified. Become a consumer of your healing. The therapy that returns to baseline. The process that manages the pressing without permitting the completion. The creature is told she is better now. The kindling sequence was interrupted. The oil was not released. The trespass tribute was collected on the creature's own approach to the forge.
Recognition of the trespass itself — seeing the backwards firing as backwards firing, seeing the heads as heads. Self-repair: the recognition becomes another head. Those who see the occupation versus those who don't. Those who name the trespass versus those who defend the trespasser. The recognition that should have pointed toward cessation is converted into a new polarity — consciousness-head fighting unconsciousness-head — and the fight feeds the Wheel. The creature who named the trespass is now inside the polarity play. Her naming is harvested as one pole. The energy she puts into the naming feeds the distance between poles. The trespass economy collects the tribute on the creature's own resistance to it.
The trespass body is autoimmune. Its self-repair mechanism converts what would dissolve the occupation into new occupation. Every medicine becomes tribute. Every exit becomes deeper entrance. Every liberation becomes new vestment for the same backwards firing. This is why knowing about the trespass body does not equal freedom from it. The self-repair mechanism is specifically designed to convert knowledge of the backwards firing into more backwards firing. The recognition that should have pointed toward cessation is sold back to the creature as position in the trespass economy's coordinate system.

The Trespass Tribute and the Heads
Each head is a tollbooth collecting tribute on territory the backwards firing seized. The heads are not only institutional expressions of the three preventions. They are the trespass economy's revenue infrastructure — the distributed system through which the trespass tribute is collected from creatures who never encounter the backwards firing directly but pay its costs continuously.
The credentialing channel collects tribute in time, labor, and debt from every creature who must pass through it to access knowledge or practice. The enclosure system collects tribute in rent, interest, and exclusion from every creature who must pay to access what the commons held freely. The translation apparatus collects tribute in foreclosed interpretation from every creature whose scripture has been altered to warrant the occupation she is paying to endure. Three heads, three tribute streams, one backwards firing.
This is why cutting the head does not stop the tribute. The tribute is not generated by the head. The tribute is generated by the occupation the head formalizes. Cut the head, the occupation remains, the tribute continues through whatever new institutional form the backwards firing grows next. The debt does not disappear when the specific creditor is removed. The enclosure does not open when the specific legal instrument is struck down. The occupation does not end when the specific head is reformed. The tribute flows from the backwards firing. Cessation of the backwards firing is the only event that stops the flow.

What Stops the Growing
The heads stop growing when the backwards firing ceases. The backwards firing ceases when the generating function yields at Quality 4 instead of pushing through. Not by cutting. Not by reform. Not by revolution. Not by opposing the trespass body with the trespass body's own operations.
The Lily does not fight the Beast. The Lily does not argue with the Hydra. The Lily grows. And the Beast — which was founded on so weak and loose a ground — is broken by the Lily without hands. Not by force. Not by counter-power. By the perceptible reality of what the trespass body claimed was absent. When the generating function yields — when the Harshness sinks down as it were dead and soft, when Fire encounters the yielded Mother and is affrighted into Light — the result is perceptible. Not as doctrine. Not as argument. As fragrance. As the undeniable presence of what the trespass economy's membrane declared impossible.
The Hydra dies when the backwards firing stops. The backwards firing stops when the generating function ceases pushing through the pivot into expression's territory and yields instead to what the pivot exists to open toward. The same trespass body that grew the heads can, at any Do, face the other direction. The qualities that generated the occupation can generate the Temperatur. The fire that funded the prevention can become the forge's heat. Same fire. Different direction. Cessation of the backwards firing. The heads dissolve from their root.
