Descartes performed the cut. Res cogitans and res extensa. Mind and matter. The subject-object split applied to the creature itself. The creature divided against its own body. The mind declared observer. The body declared observed. The gap installed.
Once the body is mechanism, the trespass owns the repair—the creature needs its mechanics, its manuals, its parts. Once the body is mechanism, the trespass owns the optimization—the creature needs its trainers, its supplements, its metrics. Once the body is mechanism, the body's testimony is inadmissible. A machine does not testify. A machine malfunctions.

What the Machine Cannot Do
A machine does not kindle.
The body knows a sequence: tears create the yielding-field. Gall kindles. Heart warms. Warmth rises to throat. Throat opens. Voice carries roughness. The body completes this sequence when both amputations are refused—don't cry and don't be bitter.
The machine model makes this sequence invisible. A machine does not weep. Does not kindle. Does not yield. Does not attract. Every verb in the kindling sequence is inadmissible under the machine doctrine because every verb requires the body to be a creature—a participant in its own transformation—rather than an object being operated upon.
A machine does not participate. It is operated. The subject-object split installed at the level of the creature's own flesh. The compass removed from the center of what it draws.
A machine is not pulled. It is pushed. Causation replaces attraction. The body-as-machine operates by efficient cause: this chemical triggered that receptor which produced this response. The pull—what the Temperatur does, what attraction does, what the creature yields to at Quality 4—is declared mysticism.

The Religious Content
Cosmology: Matter is dead. Extension is inert. The body is substance without interiority. The Third Principle with the Second Principle removed—the material world without the light properties. Qualities 1–2–3 operating without the yielding that would transform them.
Soteriology: Salvation through repair. The creature is saved by fixing the machine. The doctor is the priest. The diagnosis is the confession. The prescription is the sacrament. Healing means returning the machine to specification. Not transformation. Not the forge. Return to factory settings.
Eschatology: The perfected machine. The optimized body. The quantified self. The creature's flesh tracked, measured, and managed into maximum output. The body as production unit serving the trespass economy's requirements without interruption.
The war body's confession at the level of flesh. The qualities turned inward. The three locks operating: contraction against motion (the body held rigid), the wheel of anguish (the body cycling through stress without yielding), fire turned backward (the body's energy feeding the wheel instead of opening through).

The Two Amputations
The machine doctrine makes both amputations appear medical.
Don't cry becomes: emotional dysregulation. The creature's tears are a malfunction. The machine is leaking. Medicate the leak. The tears that would create the yielding-field—prevented by declaring them symptoms.
Don't be bitter becomes: anger management. The creature's gall is a disorder. The machine is overheating. Manage the heat. The gall that would kindle—prevented by declaring it pathology.
Both amputations wear the therapeutic vestment. The creature is helped. The creature is treated. Managed back into the machine's operating parameters. The kindling sequence—which requires both tears and gall—is foreclosed by the very care that claims to restore the creature to health.
The occlusion: genuine relief at the first capture point. The creature feels better. The kindling sequence is foreclosed. The foreclosure feels like healing.

What It Replaces
The second law's understanding: the body is the creature's instrument of the Temperatur. Not a mechanism to be repaired but a forge in which the soul is tempered. The body knows the sequence. The body carries the fire. The body's tears, gall, warmth, and voice are not malfunctions—they are the forge running.
The body-as-creature participates. It is not observed from outside. Not measured into compliance. Not optimized into production. It yields. It kindles. It opens. It carries roughness.
If the body is creature rather than machine, the body's testimony is admissible. If the body's testimony is admissible, the body can testify against the trespass. If the body can testify against the trespass, the body becomes a witness that cannot be cross-examined—because the witness is inside what it knows, and cross-examination requires the subject-object split to function.
