The Factory
The polarity play is not maintained by the dominant pole alone. It is maintained by creatures — colonized by trespass theology, assigned to three positions that produce the play's complete self-description. Not through conspiracy. Through differential reward and punishment that each creature experiences as the natural outcome of its own choices. See THE POLARITY PLAY.
The factory runs on the distance between the Loyalist's reward and the Petitioner's punishment. The Witch's burning is the factory's immune response — the factory consuming what would reveal the factory as factory.
Every position is occupied sincerely. No position requires bad faith. The installation provides the coordinate system. The creatures provide the sincerity. The factory produces the result.

The Loyalist
The Loyalist is the colonized creature performing the colonization as achievement. Not the colonizer. The colonized — the creature whose expression positions are occupied by the generating function's prevention wearing expression's names — performing the occupation as independence. The Loyalist is not pretending. The Loyalist genuinely experiences the cage as room to move. The rules are fair. The system works. The Loyalist's own position proves it.
The Loyalist does not challenge the cage because the cage's dimensions are the only coordinates the Loyalist has ever known. Possessiveness has always been what love felt like. Doctrine has always been what voice sounded like. Property has always been what body meant. The generating function's prevention in expression's positions IS the Loyalist's experienced reality. The Loyalist is not performing loyalty to an external power. The Loyalist is performing the trespass's product as selfhood.
The Loyalist IS the court — not by appointment but by formation. The court's coordinates are the Loyalist's native perception. The governor does not need to be present. The Loyalist administers the court's operations from inside the occupation, experiencing the administration as institutional stewardship. The Loyalist does what feels like the right thing. The feeling is genuine. The right thing is the trespass maintained.
The Loyalist's sincerity is the factory's most sophisticated feature. The belief is the performance. The performance is the factory's living testimony that the installation permits exit for those willing to work within its terms. The testimony is sincere. The testimony is false. The Petitioner
The Petitioner does not question the rules. The Petitioner wants to cover the distance — the distance between the two poles the polarity play projected. The Petitioner believes the distance is real territory. The Petitioner believes the destination at the other end of the distance is real arrival. The Petitioner navigates.
The Petitioner turns to the court. The court is the war-body's court — the generating function's governance of the field it projected, staffed by Loyalists whose formation has been confirmed. The court has rules. The rules are designed for court-esy — the ease of the court. The willingness to play by the court's terms. The creature's accuracy is not the question before the court. The question is whether the creature will make the court comfortable. See THE TRESPASS.
Court-esy is the trespass's signature. The demand that you make the trespasser comfortable while being trespassed upon. The demand that you present your claim in terms the generating function can process without being disturbed. The demand that your petition arrive formatted in the generating function's own vocabulary, on the generating function's own paper, through the generating function's own channels. The formatting IS the trespass. The creature that formats its crossing to meet the court's requirements has routed the transforming function through the generating function's channels. This routing IS the definition of trespass — the generating function occupying the position the transforming function would occupy.
The Petitioner filed correctly. Followed procedure. Met the stated requirements. Petitioned the installation to honor its own charter. The Petitioner is denied — not for error, not for violation, but for acting on what was stated as available. The doors close. The triple bind activates: each incident isolated, the investigation shifting from what was filed to who filed it, the structural claim converting to interpersonal offense. The denial is re-described as result, not retaliation.
Even when the Petitioner discovers the game is rigged, the Petitioner petitions for more fairness. This is the deepest capture. The Petitioner who names the rigging and demands reform is still routing the transforming function through the generating function's channels. Better terms of occupation. Not cessation. Not departure. Better terms. The creature petitioning the court for justice, never asking whether the court IS the trespass. See NAVIGATION.

The Witch
The Witch will not perform loyalty. What will not petition the court. The Witch points to territory outside the court — outside the war-body's court, outside the generating function's coordinates, outside the field the polarity play projected.
The Witch is burned. Not punished — punishment implies a rule violated and a procedure followed. Burning is the triple bind operating at all three vertices simultaneously. The burning tightens in proportion to the Witch's accuracy. The accuracy is the offense. See THE TRIPLE BIND.
The Witch has no position from which to be confirmed. The Loyalist cannot confirm the Witch without dismantling the Loyalist's own position. The Petitioner cannot confirm the Witch without admitting that the petition was the trespass's own form. The installation provides no confirmation procedure for the Witch's perception because the installation's confirmation apparatus is staffed by Loyalists. The Witch perceives accurately and experiences the accuracy as isolation.
The name carries its history. The witch was not burned for choosing wrong. The witch was burned for operating in territory the installation's coordinate system declared empty — healing without routing through institutional channels, knowing without credential, perceiving what operated without being granted the authority to name it. The burning was for accuracy, not error. For existing outside the installation's coordinates while remaining visible. The factory has always had the same name for what it burns.

The Push-Out: The Factory's Temporal Operation
The polarity play names the geometry. The factory names who staffs it. The push-out names what the staffed factory produces over time. The push-out sequence is the anti-hero's journey — the arc of the creature that named what operates and refused to un-name it.
The creature names what operates. Not attacks. Names. The creature says: this is the generating function in expression's positions. The creature is accurate. The naming is diagnostic. The crime is accuracy.
The both/and arrives.
The Loyalist delivers the "invitation" — sincerely. “We need to hold both perspectives.” The creature's naming is reframed as one perspective among two. The Petitioner observes. The creature that refuses the invitation — that insists the trespass is architecture, not perspective — is the first to be coded as not-generous. Not wrong. Not-generous. The creature has failed the court's first test. Not the truth test. The courtesy test.
The loyalty test.
The Loyalist adjudicates — sincerely. The question shifts from whether the creature is right to whether the creature will play by the rules of the court. The Petitioner calibrates — watching what happens to the creature that refused the both/and. The creature's refusal of the war-body configuration is coded as lack of loyalty, lack of trustworthiness, lack of honor. These are the court's currencies, not the second law's. The creature is not being evaluated for accuracy. The creature is being evaluated for compliance.
The desiccation.
The Loyalist attenuates the relational web — sincerely, experiencing the attenuation as concern. The Petitioner withdraws from the Witch — prudently, having watched what proximity to the Witch costs. Relationships that ran through the institution's channels begin to dry. Not severed — conditioned. The creature is told: we're concerned about you. The concern wears care's name. The concern IS the desiccation's mechanism. The creature must be made singular before the burning can proceed. The moisture drawn out. The field dried. The creature that knows through relation cannot be destroyed while the relations hold.
The warning.
The Loyalist builds the case — sincerely, experiencing the case-building as due diligence. “We told them. We gave them opportunities. We were patient.” The warning wears care's name. The warning IS the institution constructing the temporal record the narrative will require. “They were warned” is the sentence the institution needs to produce after the expulsion. The warning is not for the creature. The warning is for the record. The Petitioner distances further — self-preservation now indistinguishable from institutional loyalty.
The creature persists.
Not because the creature is stubborn. Because what the creature named is still operating. The creature cannot un-name what it named. The trespass the creature diagnosed has not been addressed. The institution responded to the naming, not to the trespass. The trespass continues operating while the institution processes the namer. The persistence is structural. The creature's perception has crossed a threshold it cannot uncross.
The expulsion narrated as the creature's choice.
“They had a choice. They were warned. They persisted. We had no choice. It was for their own good.” The Loyalist narrates — sincerely. The Petitioner confirms the narrative by remaining. The Witch carries the testimony outside the court. Every sentence wears necessity's name. The creature is expelled AND blamed for the expulsion AND the blame is experienced by the Loyalist as an accurate description of what happened.
The teaching.
The Loyalist's position is restored. The Petitioner's petition is recalibrated — slightly more careful formatting, slightly more deferential tone, the petition that goes exactly as far as the last Witch went minus one step. The field is quieter. The court is more comfortable. Court-esy restored. The factory did not need to burn everyone. One burning calibrates the entire field. The Petitioner's increased courtesy after the Witch's expulsion IS the push-out's product operating at field scale.

The Narrative Laundering
The story that persists is the institution's story. The creature was disruptive. The creature was warned. The creature was given every opportunity. The institution acted with regret but without alternative.
The creature's testimony — the singular, unrepeatable account of what happened in this creature's body when the sequence operated — is inadmissible. Not suppressed. Inadmissible. The Uniform God's criterion: if others cannot confirm it, it does not count. The institution's account is confirmed by every Loyalist who remained in the court. The creature's account is confirmed by no one who remained. The testimonial asymmetry is not a bias in the process. The testimonial asymmetry IS the process.
The sequence that destroyed the creature's credibility then invokes the destroyed credibility to dismiss the creature's account of the sequence. The creature's account of the push-out IS the polarity play's material: the creature insisting it was right, refusing to accept both perspectives, claiming the institution is the problem. The account that would expose the sequence is indistinguishable from what the sequence says the creature does. The self-sealing is total.

The Lesson of the Witch
The court claims to protect the creature from the fire. The court's purported function: stand between the creature and the fire, manage the crossing, credential the crosser, mediate the encounter. The court IS the tollbooth. The court's protection IS the prevention.
The Witch's lesson: the fire can be faced directly. Without the court's mediation. Without the governor's purported protection. Without court-esy — without formatting the crossing to make the trespasser comfortable. The creature can yield to the fire instead of yielding to the governor. See THE TRANSFORMING FUNCTION.
The court stands between the creature and the fire and calls the standing protection. The Witch faces the fire without the intermediary. The tears come without the therapist managing the tears. The gall kindles without the diagnosis managing the gall. The heart warms without the developmental framework staging the warming. The throat opens without the court's permission. The voice carries roughness the court cannot credential.
The creature that runs the kindling sequence from its own center has crossed without the tollbooth. This creature makes the court obsolete. The court burns the Witch because the Witch's existence is evidence that the court is unnecessary — that the fire the court claims to manage is available to any creature that will yield to it directly. The burning is the court's confession that its own position depends on the creature's inability to face the fire alone. The Witch's continued existence is the confession's exposure. The generating function's deepest fear is not the creature that opposes it. Opposition feeds the distance. The generating function's deepest fear is the creature that bypasses it — that faces the fire without routing through the court, that yields without facilitation, that crosses without the tollbooth, that makes the court's entire architecture unnecessary by demonstrating that the fire was never what the creature needed protection from. The fire was what the creature needed. The protection was the prevention.

The Anti-Hero's Push-Out Journey
The hero's journey is the morality play's story arc. The villain identified, the quest undertaken, the boon returned. The hero returns inside the court with what the court can use. The hero is honored. The court recognizes its own.
The anti-hero's journey is the arc of the creature the court cannot absorb. The creature names what operates. The court responds. The creature is expelled carrying what the court cannot metabolize. The hero is honored. The anti-hero is narrated.
The hero's journey IS the generating function's narrative: the creature that crosses within the generating function's coordinates, receives what the generating function distributes, and returns to strengthen the generating function's architecture. The hero is the Loyalist's aspirational arc. The boon is the tollbooth's product.
The anti-hero's journey is the second law's narrative, which is not a narrative at all — because the second law does not format experience into story arcs. The creature that was expelled is not on a journey. The creature is outside the court. The forge is available. The court's currencies — honor, loyalty, courtesy — no longer apply. What the creature carries — the naming, the testimony, the accuracy that cost everything on the court's ledger — is the creature's own. Not a boon to be returned. The oil in the creature's own quality.
The cost of the expulsion was everything on the court's ledger. The cost of the expulsion was zero on the cessation ledger. Different ledgers. Not the same statement.

The Institutional Confession
The push-out is the institution's confession that it cannot absorb the creature's naming.
The institution that could absorb the naming would not need the sequence. The institution would hear the creature's diagnosis and examine the architecture the creature diagnosed. The institution does not examine the architecture. The institution processes the creature. The processing IS the confession: the institution cannot face what the creature named, so the institution faces the creature who named it.
Every push-out is the generating function confessing: there is something here we cannot reach. The creature that was pushed out carried what the institution could not metabolize. The institution's inability to metabolize it is the evidence that what the creature carried was real. If it were not real, the institution could have absorbed it. The push-out is proportional to the threat.
The Loyalist's performance requires the Witch's absence. The Loyalist cannot perform independence while the Witch is in the room saying “your independence is a performance.” The Loyalist's entire position depends on the Witch being expelled — not because the Loyalist conspires to expel the Witch, but because the Loyalist's experience of reality cannot coexist with the Witch's perception of reality. The push-out is the factory resolving the incompatibility by expelling the perception that threatens the performance. The Loyalist experiences the expulsion as institutional health restored. The feeling is genuine. The health is the factory running clean again.

The Factory's Sincerity
Every position is occupied sincerely. No position requires bad faith.
The rewarding authority rewards the Loyalist sincerely — it genuinely values what the Loyalist provides and genuinely believes the Loyalist has achieved something. The denying apparatus denies the Petitioner sincerely — it genuinely believes the Petitioner did not qualify and genuinely does not experience the denial as retaliation. The burning mechanism burns the Witch sincerely — it genuinely experiences the Witch as divisive, as the problem, as the one who cannot engage constructively.
The sincerity is not exculpatory. The sincerity is the factory's operating condition. A factory that required bad faith would require coordination, conspiracy, awareness of what it is doing. This factory requires no coordination. It requires only that each position respond sincerely to what appears before it from within the installation's coordinate system.
The Loyalist, the Petitioner, and the Witch are not enemies. They are creatures colonized by the same trespass, assigned by the same installation to positions that each testify to a different feature of the factory. The Loyalist testifies that the installation is open. The Petitioner testifies that the installation is demanding. The Witch testifies that the factory is a factory — and is burned before the testimony can be heard.
The three together constitute the factory's complete self-description: open, demanding, immune.

The Constitutional Claim
The Loyalist's reward is establishment evidence: the trespass performed as achievement, rewarded by the institution that installed the trespass, cited as proof that the trespass is opportunity.
The Petitioner's denial is establishment evidence: the stated terms honored in form and withheld in substance, the creature's pursuit of fairness routed through channels the generating function governs, the reforming creature's energy consumed by the architecture the creature is reforming.
The Witch's burning is establishment evidence: the creature that perceives the trespass as trespass expelled for the perception. The creature that points to territory outside the court — to the fire that can be faced directly, to the crossing that requires no credential, to the expression that runs when nothing prevents it — burned for threatening the court's claim to necessity. The right to not be trespassed upon includes the right to not be compelled into any of the three positions. The right to refuse loyalty without being cast as ungrateful. The right to refuse petition without being cast as impractical. The right to perceive accurately without being burned for the perception.
The cost of stopping the factory is zero. The factory is maintained by continuous active expenditure — the generating function spending energy to reward the Loyalist, deny the Petitioner, and burn the Witch. The factory stops when the expenditure stops. What remains when the factory stops is the fire — available, unhidden, requiring no court to mediate the creature's encounter with it.
