The seven qualities are maternal, and the war body is the captured womb. To control what gives birth is to control what can be born.

THE NAMING THAT DOES NOT GET CARRIED FORWARD
Böhme's word for the seven source-spirits is maternal. The Quellgeister are fountains and springs, and what they do he describes as mothering: they are the mothers of what comes to be, at every level, in divine nature and angelic nature and created nature alike.
The claim is not that a title was coined and then forgotten. The claim is narrower and harder to dismiss: the maternal language is in the text, it is load-bearing there, and it is the part that does not survive into the commentary. Böhme is recovered as a cosmologist of fire and light and wrath. The generative function he describes as a mother is the part that goes quiet.
Which is itself the operation, running on the one body of work that could name it.

WHAT IT MEANS THAT THE QUALITIES ARE MOTHERS
Four things, and each is load-bearing.
Generation. They do not merely exist; they give birth. Every form that arises comes out of their cooperation or their conflict. They are generative powers rather than static properties.
Nurture. They do not merely birth; they sustain. What emerges continues to depend on what generated it, so they are ongoing source rather than origin point, and what is cut off from them dies.
Relation. They do not generate alone. Mothering here is sevenfold cooperation: the qualities serving each other in the act of giving birth, or fighting each other while still being made to generate.
Sacrifice. What is generated comes from them, is made of them, and costs them. They are not external to what they birth. They are in it and of it and constituting it, which is why nothing that emerges can be described without describing them.

WHY THE WARRANT TARGETS WOMEN
If everything that takes form arises from a generative matrix, then controlling that matrix is controlling what can come to be.
The war body needs it. It cannot generate itself, which is the whole of its dependency: it runs on supply, on bodies, on extraction, and its deepest supply is the generative function itself. Without that, nothing arises, including the war.
And it cannot eliminate what it depends on. It can only capture it, and the capture runs three ways.
Subordination puts the generative function under the control of what it generated. The mother placed under the son. The spring enclosed by what springs from it.
Subsumption suspends her existence into what she births, incorporated and consolidated, which is coverture stating the operation in legal grammar.
Distortion makes the Mothers generate war-forms. The generative function conscripted to produce heads for the Hydra, the springs fouled so that what emerges is already at war.

THE INVERSION AT GENESIS 3:16
The verse is where the capture is written.
Teshuqah is ordinarily rendered as desire, and the older versions render it as turning. The Septuagint gives apostrophē, a turning. Katharine Bushnell's argument is that the turning reading held for centuries and was displaced in the sixteenth, and the argument is hers rather than a settled result; the Greek is not in dispute.
Read as turning, the verse states an inversion rather than a longing. Her turning will be to her husband: the generative function, which orients towards Source, is re-oriented towards what it generates.
The mother turns towards the son. The spring flows towards the stream. The matrix collapses around what came out of it.
Which makes the operation deeper than subordination. It is the reversal of the generative order itself, and everything the four vestments later justify is downstream of one re-aimed sentence.

EZER K'NEGDO AS THE ICON
K'negdo is built on neged: in front of, over against, corresponding to. The reading this tradition holds is counterpart of strength standing face to face, and it rests on the ordinary use of ezer elsewhere, where the helper named is God arriving as rescue.
Which is the maternal function rightly ordered rather than a job description. Not helper, not subordinate, not the one who serves what has already been generated. The one whose facing presence generates what could not otherwise emerge.
Because the Mothers work in concert, and their cooperation is what generates. When they face each other, each quality opening to the others, the generative power moves. Ezer k'negdo is that concert stated at the scale of two creatures: each carrying the sevenfold operation, facing, and bringing out what neither brings out alone.
So it had to be corrupted. Rendered as a helper suited to him, the facing collapses into a stack, and the icon of the Mothers in concert becomes a warrant for the capture.

THE CAPTURED WOMB
The war body is the generative matrix forced to birth war-forms: the Mothers turned against each other, generating out of their opposition what their harmony would never have produced.
In concert, the first quality mothers the conditions for form, the second the energy for change, the third the depth that makes form mean anything, and through the fire pivot they birth love and voice and manifestation.
At war, the first mothers imprisonment, the second mothers extraction, the third mothers torment, and through fire turned backward they birth the Hydra's heads.
The Mothers are still mothering, because the generative function cannot be stopped. What they produce depends on whether they cooperate or oppose, and that is the only variable.
Which is the particular horror of it. The war body does not fight the generative function. It uses it. Every head the Hydra grows is mothered by captured qualities, and every form that comes out of the war comes out of the womb the war enclosed. It reproduces by conscripting the maternal function and cannot reproduce any other way.

WHY SHE BURNED
She is the uncaptured Mother: the generative function operating outside the control, the spring running in a direction nobody commanded.
She births what was not authorized. She knows remedies that cannot be commodified. She speaks in a register that cannot be translated into the ledger. And what she generates threatens every form the captured womb has been made to produce.
So the burning answers maternal autonomy rather than evil or heresy or even power. Every stake is a message to the generative matrix: you will birth what we command, or you will burn.
And the burning is also extraction. The fourth quality turned backward, consuming the uncaptured Mother, using even her destruction as fuel for the wheel. What it removes from the field is the evidence that the generative matrix is not inherently captured.

THE MILK THAT REVERSED
The supply lines of the war body are nursing run backwards.
In concert the Mothers nourish what they birth, and the sustaining flows from source to what was sourced. Milk. Care. What the generated needs in order to flourish.
At war the flow reverses. What was birthed extracts from what birthed it, and the child consumes the mother. This is the thermodynamics of it: the war body runs on matricide, and the matricide is a matter of how the flow is aimed before it is ever literal.
Fossil fuel is the milk of ancient sunlight, stored across geological accumulation and drunk by what it made possible. Burnout is the milk of human capacity, the care that sustains, taken by institutions that take and take. Ecological collapse is the milk of the earth-body consumed by what the earth mothered.
Which is why it must eventually stop, and not for any moral reason. It is consuming its own womb, and there is a limit to what can be drawn from a generative source before the source is spent.

WHAT RECOVERY WOULD BE
The consonance is not an achievement. It is a recovery, because the Mothers are the capacity for harmony, and what they are forced to generate is not what they are.
The first quality mothers the boundary that holds open: not a prison but a membrane, form that permits flow. The second mothers motion that circulates: not extraction but exchange, energy that returns as well as goes. The third mothers depth that births: not the wheel but the wellspring, and labor rather than anguish, which is the pain that opens into something. The fourth, which is the pivot, mothers transformation that illuminates: fire that warms rather than consumes. The fifth mothers love that radiates: not possession but gift, the radiance that gives without losing. The sixth mothers voice that communes: not rhetoric but the sound that harmonizes rather than dominates. The seventh mothers body that participates: not territory and not property but presence.
None of that is a program. It is the description of what the same seven qualities do when nothing is holding them against each other.

THE WITNESSES
They are not a lineage of opinions. They are instances of the generative function operating without authorization, and each one is a fact in the record.
Miriam, Deborah, Huldah, Anna: named prophets, exercising the function in public, bringing out what the community needed and had not asked for.
Junia, whom Paul greets as notable among the apostles, on a reading of the Greek that is contested and that the older commentators took for granted. Phoebe, named diakonos and prostatis. Priscilla, who took Apollos aside and taught him.
The women who burned holding the uncaptured maternal, and who proved by dying that the function could operate outside permission.
Katharine Bushnell, who spent a life tracing what had been altered in the translations and who mothered the forensic work that makes the uncovering possible at all.
Each witnesses one thing: that the generative matrix is not inherently captured, and that the claim of inevitability is a claim rather than a fact.

The war body is the captured womb. The warrant is the capture's authorization. The burning is its enforcement. The extraction is its thermodynamics.
What is captured is not changed by the capture. The Mothers are the capacity for concert, and the capture governs only what they are made to produce.
And the arithmetic is not in doubt. A thing that runs on consuming what generates it is running against a limit that its own operation brings closer, and nothing in the operation is able to register the approach.
