The severed qualities held together by what the severance could not sever. The orbits are desire-paths, and the unfulfillment is what keeps them turning.

THE LONGING BETWEEN
And then every Essence in the Propagation, in the manifold Centers of the Stars, have a longing Desire one after the other, and a continual Will to infect, impregnate, or mix Influences.
The stars long for each other. Each center yearns towards the others, with a continual will to interpenetrate. The separation produced the longing for reunion, and each reaches towards what it was separated from.
The pull between celestial bodies is desire rather than mechanism: the same desire that runs through every creature, the vehement hunger, operating at the scale that holds the severed qualities in relation.
The severance divided the fiery will from the mild will, the generating function from the transforming function. It could not eliminate the longing between them. What was one will still desires its own wholeness. The desire cannot be satisfied through the derivative field, and it does not cease. The desire is the orbital relation.

THE MARRIAGE BETWEEN SEVERED FUNCTIONS
Thus the starry Heaven rules in all Creatures, as in its proper own; it is the Husband or Man; and the Matrix, or the watery Form, is its Wife or Woman, which it continually impregnates. And the Matrix is the Genetrix, which brings forth the Child which the Heaven begets.
Every creature is the child of that marriage: the fiery will supplying the quality-configuration, the watery matrix supplying material form, and the creature carrying both.
And the impregnation does not stop. Every moment of material existence is the ongoing act of it.
But the marriage is between severed functions. They were one will before the severance, so their marriage is an attempt at reunion through the derivative field. What was internal circulation, one will processing through its own qualities with the double terror occurring continuously at the heart-point, became external relation. What was self-generating became interdependent.
Which is the same geometry as the extraction in Eden. Ha'adam held both tinctures; after the turn they stand in two bodies, seeking each other across the gap the separation made. The cosmic marriage and that one are the same shape, and neither is a metaphor for the other.

THE CHILD OF LOVE
And so now there is a vehement Desire in the Creatures. The Spirit of the Male seeks the loving Child in the Female, and the Female in the Male.
What is sought is the Child of Love: what would be produced if the generating function and the transforming function met fully, if the double terror completed, if fire encountered the yielded mother with nothing standing between them.
Böhme is blunt about how little of this is known to whoever is doing it. The irrationality of the body knows not what it does, and the body would not move so eagerly towards propagation if it had reason. The spirit burns and desires after the Child of Love, and it cannot comprehend what it is after.
What actually happens is semination. A new center to the birth. A new generating function installed, and the cycle continues.
Yet it does not attain the paradisiacal Child of Love, but it is a vehement Hunger.
So the longing cannot be fulfilled through its apparent object. The drive is the search for the double terror's completion, and what the reunion produces is propagation: new centers, new seeking, the generating function generating more generating, without the transforming function ever meeting it fully.
Not punishment and not failure. The generating function reaches towards the transforming function and finds the transforming function's material medium, the watery matrix, rather than the mild will itself.

MUTUAL NOURISHMENT
And the one Essence, or Virtue, is the Meat and Drink, as also the Chest, Case, or Receptacle of the other.
They feed each other. What one produces the others consume, and each holds the others. The same being that feeds you also holds you.
And this is not exchange, which requires separate parties transacting across a gap. It is interpenetration: each simultaneously inside the other, feeding and being fed. The gap is real, and the nourishment flows through it. The longing is the conduit.
Trespass theology breaks exactly this. Takes without giving. Feeds without being fed. Holds without being held. Mutual nourishment reduced to extraction is the generating function operating without the transforming function: taking and producing and consuming, without the yielding that would turn the taking into communion. The stars become raw material, the matrix becomes substrate, and the marriage becomes a supply chain.

OUR NATIVE COUNTRY
When we speak of Heaven, we speak of our native Country. And there is nothing nearer us than this Birth, for we live and move therein, as in the House of our Mother.
The pull to look up is the generating function reaching towards the transforming function through a creature. She is stellar essence, and her longing is the fiery will in her reaching for the heaven that is hidden inside the fiery will.
Which makes the homesickness accurate rather than pathological. The nameless missing, the something-not-right that no settlement satisfies, is the Child of Love pressing against derivative perception. It is what the generating function seeks in every acquisition and every accomplishment: the transforming function, the completion of the cycle.
The generating function in her knows it needs the transforming function. Knows without knowing. Reaches without knowing what it reaches towards.
And she is from a place she cannot return to through what constitutes her. The native country is nearer than anything, and what perceives cannot register what is nearer than anything, because it looks only into its mother, and the mother it looks into is the material form rather than what the material form images.

WHY THE ORBITS DO NOT SETTLE
Orbital relation is how two severed operations maintain relation through the longing the severance produced. The orbits are desire-paths, the distances are longing-measures, the speeds are urgency.
The relation is perpetual motion. The orbits do not settle, the longing does not resolve, the Child of Love is not attained. And the longing-in-motion is what holds it together.
Which yields the hard sentence. If the longing resolved, the orbits would collapse. If the Child of Love were attained through the derivative field, the generating would cease. The accommodation operates through unfulfillment, and the marriage produces propagation through the very gap that prevents full union.
Not punishment. What was built out of love, enabling manifestation through a longing it cannot itself satisfy, expressed as an ache that will not resolve, because resolving it here would end the generating this field exists to enable.

WHAT THE LONGING IS ACTUALLY REACHING FOR
The transforming function is hidden inside the generating function. The mild will is inside the fiery will.
What the longing seeks is already inside what longs, and the endless reaching across the gap images what is already present within.
So the homesickness is for what was never left. If the tincture strengthens, the Child of Love is perceived not through the derivative field at all but through the double terror occurring inside the creature's own quality, because it was never distant. It was imperceivable.
The longing was always accurate. What it sought was always here.

Trespass theology takes the last part and inverts it. The stars' longing for each other declared inert force. Orbital relation reduced to mechanics. The homesickness pathologized, the nameless missing medicated, and the ache that will not resolve diagnosed as a disorder.
It is not a disorder. It is the generating function's accurate perception that it needs what it was severed from.
