THE SCAN
Sophia mirrors potentiality. She receives formlessness and returns it as formed possibility. The Ungrund beholding itself in Sophia sees what could be, the fullness of total potentiality. This is not a landscape to be navigated. It is receptive vision that does not collapse what it receives.
Possibility space, in game theory and complexity science and design thinking and evolutionary biology, does something structurally different. It installs an observer scanning a landscape of discrete configurations. It maps. It catalogs. It optimizes. The observer stands outside the space and evaluates which possibility to actualize. This is the Ledger applied to potentiality itself: quantification applied to what precedes quantity.
The trespass falls at Quality 5, in the expression segment. Sophia's position is receptive radiance, mirror-capacity that receives and returns without distortion. Possibility space fills that position with the generating function's operation: measurement applied to the not-yet, possessiveness in love's position, applied to potential rather than to actuality.
And the scan produces what scans produce. Discrete options. Mappable terrain. A landscape with coordinates. The very act of treating potentiality as space, as something with positions and dimensions that an observer traverses, is the measurement cut applied before manifestation.

THE THREE-LEVEL OCCUPATION
The occupied third operates at three levels, and the progression names something no single level could name on its own.
At the level of what is. The intermediary between the creature and her own land, water, provision, body. The corporation between the Ogoni and their own soil. The therapist between the person and her own experience. The intermediary's presence severs the direct relation and installs mediation as the only available channel. What she already has, her own ground and her own material and her own flesh, becomes reachable only through the intermediary's gate.
At the level of what crosses. The intermediary between the creature and her own transformation. The facilitator between the group and its own relational field. The methodology between the creature and her own crossing capacity. The revenue model is permanent consumers of facilitated crossing. She crossed, with help, and her native capacity to cross remains latent.
At the level of what could be. The intermediary between the creature and her own capacity to imagine cessation. This is the deepest. The creature who tries to imagine what would happen if the preventing stopped imagines it inside possibility space: scans options, evaluates configurations, navigates a landscape of discrete alternatives. The scanning is the trespass at the level of the possible.
The cost of stopping feels infinite even though the cost of stopping is zero, because the generating function has occupied the position from which the zero would be perceived.

THE FORGE IS NOT GIVEN
The three-level occupation describes where the generating function installs itself. The three depths describe what the installation does to the creature's capacity to forge a soul. They are not the same thing and they operate at once.
The seven qualities are present in every Third Principle creature. Every body has contraction, motion, anguish, fire, and the light properties pressing against the seal. The ingredients are there. But the soul, the Temperatur, the specific unity of those qualities tempered through actual fire into something that persists beyond Third Principle dissolution, is not given. It must be forged, and the creature must do the forging. The Third Principle is the forge.

FIRST DEPTH: PREVENTED FROM ENTERING
The neutering prevents the creature from entering the forge. It severs the kindling sequence, so she never encounters the fire.
Don't cry is the first amputation. Tears create the yielding-field. Without the yielding-field, gall cannot kindle. Without the kindling, the heart does not warm. Without the warming, the throat does not open. The sequence breaks at its origin, and she has all seven qualities turning but never enters the condition where fire could meet yielding and become light.
Don't be bitter is the second. Gall is Quality 3's signature at the Mi-Fa threshold, the rotation reaching its own limit, the anguish concentrated to the point where it could open into fire. The injunction against bitterness removes her from the threshold. The wheel keeps spinning and the approach to the pivot is aborted.
At dissolution the ingredients return to their sources. Dark qualities to the First Principle, light qualities to the Second. Nothing persists as that creature. The forge was available. She was prevented from entering it. And the intermediary here is not a person. The intermediary is the injunction itself.

SECOND DEPTH: PULLED OUT OF THE FORGE
The pressing happened. The fire was entered. The juice was released. The tempering had begun. Then the measurement cut kills the fermentation: the yeast destroyed, the tempering interrupted.
This is what institutional therapeutic practice performs when it applies the cut to a creature in the fire. The creature sweating blood. The creature in the dark night. The creature whose qualities are being tempered through actual anguish into something that could persist. The apparatus arrives, diagnoses the pressing as pathology, names the fermentation as crisis, and applies the legibility requirement to what must remain illegible while it forms. The demand that transformation be legible while it is occurring is pasteurization.
More violent than preventing entry, because she was in the forge and was pulled out. The pressing was real. The fire was real. And the work was interrupted not by her failure but by the demand that the forging be observable and trackable and diagnosable in progress.
At dissolution the ingredients return to their sources. The forge was entered and abandoned. The pressing was wasted. The facilitator monitors the temperature, adjusts the duration, decides when the pressing has gone far enough, and the creature who was in the forge is returned to the generating function's care and sold another approach to the fire she was just pulled from.

THIRD DEPTH: TOLD THE FORGING IS COMPLETE
Supersession tells the creature the forging is complete when it never occurred. The counterfeit tasted and called fire. The warm and connected and whole feeling identified as the Temperatur. She believes she has a soul.
The generating function does not merely prevent the forging or interrupt it. It produces a simulation of the forging's result and installs the simulation in the category soul. She experiences warmth without fire, connection without yielding, wholeness without the pressing that would temper the qualities into actual unity, and calls the experience transformation.
The developmental models perform this at scale. She navigates from one configuration to another. The new one feels better, warmer, more connected, more whole. She calls the navigation transformation and calls the new feeling the soul. But the navigation was the generating function carrying itself across the transition. The warmth was possessiveness in love's position. The connection was doctrine in voice's position. The wholeness was property in body's position. Every quality of the new experience was the generating function in costume.
At dissolution the counterfeit dissolves, because it was never genuine. More violent than prevention and more violent than pasteurization, because she was not prevented from the forge or pulled from it. She was given a picture of the forge and told she was inside.
This is the occupation at the level of what could be. The creature who tries to imagine what the forging would produce imagines it inside the generating function's coordinates. The scan produces a configuration labeled forged soul, she navigates to it, arrives, feels the arrival and calls it the crossing. The scan replaced the mirror. The configuration replaced the Temperatur. The navigation replaced the forging. And she has no way to perceive that the image is the occupation, because the position that perception would occur from is the position the generating function is standing in.

THE TRESPASS AS SOUL-MURDER
The violence is total. Not metaphorically. Geometrically.
The three depths operate at once. The creature prevented from entering the forge is also being managed when she accidentally approaches the fire, and is also being supplied with the generating function's image of what the forging would produce. The neutering, the pasteurization and the supersession are not sequential stages. They are concurrent operations of one configuration that removes the conditions the tempering would require.
The creature who lives her entire Third Principle sojourn in occupied territory, possessiveness called love and doctrine called voice and property called body, never encounters the actual light properties, never experiences the actual tempering, never knows what fire becomes when it meets yielding. At dissolution the ingredients return to their sources. No Temperatur. No soul persisting as that creature.
The cost of this is not a moral cost. Not a punishment. Not a verdict. It is the geometry of what happens when the forge is occupied by counterfeit and the counterfeit is accepted as fire. The war body's dissolution is not judgment. It is what happens when ingredients that were never tempered into unity return to the sources they never stopped belonging to.

THE COST
The cost of cessation is zero. The cost of the forging is everything. Both are true and they are not the same statement.
Cessation clears the occupied positions and makes the forge available. It costs nothing from the Law of the Spirit of Life. It costs everything from the Ledger, because the Ledger is the occupation, and what the occupation loses when it ceases is what it never owned.
The forging costs everything because she must enter the fire. Must stay in the pressing. Must permit the yielding. Must let the qualities be tempered through actual anguish in actual contested ground. Must refuse both amputations. Must remain in the dark and illegible and unmeasured duration while the Temperatur forms.
Possibility space cannot map this cost, because the cost is the dissolution of possibility space. The creature in the forge is not scanning options. She is being worked. The fire is meeting the yielding. The observer position, Quality 3's vantage, dissolves in the fire it was scanning from above. What remains is not a configuration the observer selected. What remains is what the fire produced when the observer stopped observing and entered the fire as fuel.
The forge is not in possibility space. The forge is what operates when possibility space dissolves.
