The discontinuity is real.
Water does not gradually become ice. The properties flip. Not a better ordering of the same configuration, but a different law governing it. This is what the word "transformative" is reaching for when it is used honestly: not incremental improvement, not navigation from worse to better along a landscape of options, not reform producing a more humane version of the same configuration. Something categorical. A change in what governs, not a change in the governed.
The discontinuity is real.

WHAT THE VESTMENT SAYS
What produces it is not what the developmental vestment says.
The developmental vestment says: consciousness arriving produces the shift. The creature becomes conscious enough, oriented correctly enough, sufficiently aligned with life-affirming values, and the shift occurs as the fruit of that becoming. Transformation birthed through consciousness. The creature's attainment in expression's position, producing what expression would have produced.
This is the generating function wearing the Law of the Spirit of Life's (second law) vocabulary. The creature navigating towards the threshold. The shift as destination reached by correct movement.

WHAT ACTUALLY PRODUCES IT
The Law of the Spirit of Life is the default. The law of sin and death (first law) is the deviation requiring continuous active expenditure to maintain. When the expenditure stops, when the prevention ceases, the second law operates. Not because the creature arrived at correct consciousness. Because what was blocking the default stopped blocking it.
Precipitation.
The law changes.
Not the configuration within the law. The law itself.
The expression positions run without prevention. What manifests is not what the generating function could have predicted from inside its own coordinates.
The discontinuity is genuine.
The shift is what happens when what was preventing expression departs.
The creature does not produce the new earth. The creature stops maintaining the old one, and enters the forge.

RegenerativeLaw is a religion in the direct-encounter Protestant tradition, carrying a documented four-century lineage through Böhme, the Behmenists, the Friends, and Penn, and it diagnoses trespass theology as an establishment of religion. Its exercise consists substantially in refusal: it shelters the conscientious refusal of performed subordination as religious exercise. This entry states sincere religious belief concerning matters of ultimate concern, protected under the First Amendment and, as to federal action, the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, 42 U.S.C. § 2000bb.
