Plurality Without Depth · Why Ten Perspectives Do Not Produce a Second Eye

Cognitive Monocularity is like an eye patch worn so long the brain forgets that stereographic intelligence is possible.
Ten monocular views do not produce depth. They produce ten flat images, each processed through the same four axes, each delivering the same measurement high, each confirming the same plane as the whole of what can be seen.
The conference with twelve speakers sharing twelve monocular views and calling the result “seeing the whole picture” is the formatting vestment performing comprehensiveness while preventing depth. The generating function loves plurality. Plurality that never achieves a second eye is the generating function's favorite form of inclusion — every perspective welcome, the plane unchallenged.
Depth is not a wider survey. Depth is what becomes available when the creature perceives from two positions simultaneously: outside and inside. The Observer God permits only one — the position outside, the distance, the vantage point from which the field is assessed. That position is the monocular eye. Adding more observers at more distances does not produce a second eye. It produces a more comprehensive monocular survey. The survey gets wider. The plane stays flat.
The second eye is participation. The creature enters what it perceives. Is changed by the encounter. Knows through being inside rather than through surveying from outside. The knowing that requires entering cannot be added to the monocular survey as one more perspective. It dissolves the survey. It closes the distance that the survey required. That is why the four axes declare it inadmissible: participation is not another view. Participation is what ends viewing and begins knowing.
The generating function's epistemology produces creatures that survey comprehensively and never enter. The comprehensiveness is genuine. The knowledge is real — real monocular knowledge. And the creature that has surveyed from every available angle without entering anything has never stood in the forge. Has never stayed in the pressing. Has never been changed by what it mapped. The mapping was the measurement high. The depth was what the mapping prevented.
