The building burns. The air conditioning works. Both true.

The air conditioning does not fail. It succeeds, and the success is the problem. The relief is genuine enough that the question shifts, from why is this building on fire to how do we maintain the cooling. The fire becomes background. What manages the fire becomes foreground. Not through concealment. Through irrelevance. The symptom managed loses its diagnostic function. The pain that might have pointed back to the trespass now points only to the need for more intervention.
This is the geometry of the two capture operations. The tollbooth at Mi-Fa delivers genuine crossing. The creature crosses. The benefit is real. Pain decreases, function improves, life becomes more bearable. The capture requires the crossing to be genuine: false crossings get abandoned and genuine crossings get depended upon. And the trespass at Fa-So-La-Si fills what the creature arrives in. The territory on the other side of the tollbooth is already occupied, possessiveness in love's position, doctrine in voice's position, property in body's position. The creature that crossed with real relief does not examine what she crossed into. Why would she. The crossing worked.
The genuine delivery at the first capture point occludes the prevention at the second. This is the occlusion.

THE PHASE STRUCTURE
Genuine relief. The intervention provides real benefit, and this cannot be collapsed. The therapy helps. The credential opens a door. The community supports. The help is not counterfeit. It is help, and it is also the mechanism of occlusion, not despite the genuineness but through it. The trespass economy's most durable product is the relief that renders its own diagnosis impossible.
The question changes. Because the relief works, attention reorganizes. Not from the structural question to the optimization question, which is too clean a shift. The question of what law is operating becomes inaccessible. The creature no longer needs to ask it, because she has an answer that works well enough. The fire the cooling manages is no longer visible as fire. It has become the condition of life, the background against which questions are asked, the given within which improvement is pursued.
The fire becomes invisible. Not hidden. Invisible through irrelevance. The creature has organized her life around the cooling's requirements. Her coping is real. Her adaptation is real. The cost of the adaptation, the continuous expenditure of energy managing what would not require management if the trespass had ceased, is not visible as cost. It is visible as the normal price of existing. The tribute she pays continuously does not register as tribute. It registers as what life costs.
The occlusion hardens. Over time the intervention becomes infrastructure. Economies build on the symptom-management industry. Institutions organize around the management apparatus. Identities form around the coping. The occupied third achieves load-bearing status. It is no longer active hiding. It is load-bearing invisibility. The creature cannot simply remove the occlusion, because the occlusion is now what the configuration rests on. Removing the relief exposes the trespass without removing it, and it does not restore what the trespass prevented. It removes the management of the prevention's effects.

THE TWO CAPTURES AS ONE OPERATION
The tollbooth and the trespass are typically named as two operations. The occlusion names how they function as one.
The tollbooth at Mi-Fa controls who crosses. It charges tribute: credential, fee, obedience, compliance. But it delivers. The crossing is real, and the creature arrives on the other side genuinely changed. This is not the franchise selling empty product. This is the franchise selling real product through the only available gate, at the only available price, having sealed all other crossings first.
The trespass at Fa-So-La-Si fills what the creature arrives in. The territory called expression is already occupied, because the backwards firing installed prevention in expression's positions before the creature arrived. She finds possessiveness where love should radiate, doctrine where voice should commune, property where body should participate. She does not find an empty territory she failed to fill. She finds occupied territory she has no way to recognize as occupied, because the occupation preceded her arrival and the relief of crossing preceded her examination.
The creature's legitimate gratitude for real relief becomes the mechanism that forecloses recognition of what the relief is sustaining. The tribute she paid at the tollbooth funded the crossing. The crossing confirmed the tollbooth's legitimacy. The confirmation makes the next tribute demand feel reasonable. The occupied territory she arrived in shapes what she understands love, voice and body to be, and she cannot recognize the occupation because the occupation has become her self-understanding.
This is why reform strengthens what it addresses. The reform provides relief at the tollbooth. The relief occludes the trespass. The trespass continues generating what the reform addresses. The reform becomes permanent necessity. Revolution becomes maintenance. The creature who fought the fire-management and won has a better cooling system, and the building still burns.

THE OCCLUSION ACROSS THE THREE FACES
The occlusion operates through all three faces simultaneously, each delivering genuine relief that occludes the trespass running beneath it.
Nature Says. The scientific method delivers genuine knowledge, and the knowledge is real. Quantification produces real predictions, real medicines, real technologies. The genuine delivery occludes what the four axes have foreclosed: quality inadmissible, testimony inadmissible, participation inadmissible, attraction inadmissible. The creature whose life has been measurably improved by what the Observer God produced does not examine what the Observer God's installation prevented.
God Says. The theological institution delivers genuine comfort, genuine community, genuine encounter with what exceeds the creature's own formation. The encounter is real. The genuine delivery occludes the translated warrant: teshuqah changed from turning to desire, kephalē changed from source to authority. The creature whose grief was held by the community does not easily examine the translation forensics beneath the tradition that held her. The holding is the occlusion.
Market Says. The trespass economy delivers genuine goods. The mortgage provides a home. The credential provides a livelihood. The insurance provides security. The genuine provision occludes the tribute: the interest that was never created, the enclosure that preceded the mortgage, the credentialing channel that sealed the other crossings.
Triple establishment is triple occlusion. Each face delivers enough genuine relief to make the trespass beneath it invisible. Each face deflects to the other two when named, and the deflection works because the other two genuinely did deliver. The defense of the trespass is the relief the trespass provided, and the creature's own gratitude is the seal.

THE ANTICHRIST AND THE OCCLUSION
The occlusion is the Antichrist's essential operation. Not a tool the Antichrist uses. The occlusion is how the Antichrist functions: genuine delivery at the tollbooth, real transformation at the first capture point, and the genuine delivery making the prevention at the second capture point invisible.
The creature who received genuine transformation at the tollbooth cannot perceive that the positions beyond it are occupied by prevention wearing transformation's names. The Antichrist's power is not in the prevention. It is in the genuine transformation that precedes the prevention and makes the prevention look like continuation.

THE CONSCIOUSNESS FRANCHISE AS DEEPEST OCCLUSION
The occlusion reaches its deepest form when the second law's vocabulary is franchised as the relief. This is the consciousness franchise: the four axes wearing the second law's names, delivering the measurement high in the register of transformation, collecting tribute on the creature's own approach to the forge.
The genuine glimpse of expression running, the moment of real consonance, the encounter that was not the backwards firing, is the relief. It is real. The franchise packages that real moment into credential, methodology, community, capital. The creature who experienced something genuine in the packaging does not examine what the packaging is doing to what she experienced.
This is the deepest version of the burning building. The air conditioning is now running on the second law's fuel. The cooling is real. The regenerative vocabulary is real. The community is real. And the trespass continues beneath it, collecting tribute on the creature's own encounter with what the trespass has been preventing. She pays to access a glimpse of what would be available at no cost if the trespass stopped, and the genuine delivery of the glimpse is what makes the tribute feel like the price of something real rather than tribute on her own expression.

The building still burns. The air conditioning still works. The question the occlusion forecloses is not about the cooling. It is about the fire. Not how to manage what the fire generates. Whether the fire should be burning.
The trespass can stop. The backwards firing can cease. The generating function can yield at the fourth quality instead of pushing through. This is not the air conditioning question. This is the question the air conditioning makes it unnecessary to ask. The occlusion is not the fire. The occlusion is what makes the creature unable to see the fire while standing in its heat.
