The Holding Enthroned Where Residency Was
Ownership is the holding laid over the dwelling and then worshipped as the ground.
The creature inhabits a body she did not acquire, a life she did not purchase, a presence prior to any title — and ownership renders that inhabitation a holding: a thing she has, that can be valued, secured, leveraged, and lost. The self she lived in becomes the self she owns. And once the holding sits where the residency was, the holding is enthroned — declared the foundational fact, the bedrock right, the thing from which her freedom is said to descend. The creature is taught to call the posting her foundation, and to seek her liberation in holding more.

THE CONVERSION
Ownership converts what is prior to the ledger into an entry on it.
Residency is the creature's continuation in her dwelling — cosmological fact, not a claim filed against anyone. Ownership takes that continuation and renders it property: postable, transferable, foreclosable. The conversion requires the cut.
To own a thing one must stand apart from it as the subject who holds, and the thing must stand as the object held — owner here, owned there. Applied to the self, this splits the creature into a proprietor and a possession, a holder and a held. But there is no proprietor anterior to the dwelling. The soul inhabits what was given; it did not arrive to take title to it. The owner is not a fact the conversion discovers.
The owner is a position the conversion installs, and the position is occupied by evicting the prior occupant from the place she already was.

THE FALSE GOD
A god, in the trespass theology, is what is declared prior — the non-negotiable ground, the source from which all else descends, the thing that may not be questioned because it presents not as a claim but as the way things are.
Ownership is enthroned in exactly this place.
The property frame is installed as the ground of rights, and every other right is made to descend from it: autonomy from ownership, innovation from autonomy, well-being from innovation — the whole order flowing from the one source, as from a creator.
This is the precipitate set in the creator's seat. The holding, which was laid over the residency, is crowned as the origin of the residency, and the inversion is made to feel like bedrock. Accounting theology is this god's liturgy — the ledger the book in which residency is posted as holding, entry by entry, and the holding then balanced, bought, and foreclosed.
It hides the way the most complete gods hide.
The first divine right located rule in a bloodline: God chose this family, therefore it reigns. That god could be challenged — another family could claim the favor, a revolution could argue the mandate had passed, because the claim sat in a person, and a person can be deposed. The second divine right located rule in a thing. The deed sanctifies; the title conveys; therefore this owner reigns — and the Doctrine of Discovery wrote the original sanctification, the papal hand blessing the deed before the registry inherited it. A god seated in a document does not have to show up, maintain alignment, or answer a challenge. It presents not as a person claiming power but as an object recording fact, and one does not argue with a fact. Ownership is the divine right relocated from the throne room to the registry, where it rules through paperwork and cannot be deposed, because there is no one there to depose.

THE SELF-MADE
Every god carries an origin story, and ownership's is acquisition.
The owner is the one who made himself, who came to hold by his own hand, who earned his title and therefore deserves it.
The self-made claim is the ledger's forgery of origin: it refuses to post the entries for the hands that held him while he was making himself — the bodies that fed and carried and taught him, the dwelling he was given before he held anything. Gratitude would name those entries, and the god of self-generation cannot be grateful, because gratitude admits the gift, and the gift admits that what he calls his making was first a receiving. So the origin must be severed and the given erased. There is no title to residency, because residency was never acquired — it was Figured, inhabited, prior. The owner's myth requires the erasure of the giving, because a given dwelling has no proprietor. It has an occupant, and an occupant who remembers she was given the dwelling cannot be sold the story that she made it.

SELF-OWNERSHIP
The deepest reach of the frame is the one that feels most like freedom.
You own yourself.
Your body is your property; your labor is yours to sell; no one else may hold what you hold over you. Against those who would own her, this does real work, and in the law's register the creature may have to speak it. But where residency operates, self-ownership installs the cut at the one place it had not yet reached — inside the creature, between the proprietor she is told she is and the property she is told she has. It frees her from the external master by seating an internal one: she becomes her own first holding, owner and owned in a single body. The founding cut, which split the world into generator and held, is completed when it runs through the creature herself and she calls the running freedom. Self-ownership frees by enclosing. The enclosure is only hers now.

THE PROMISE TO THE DISPOSSESSED
To those the ledger has already emptied, the false god makes its warmest promise: become holders.
Take back ownership of your selves, your families, your communities. Hold what you have been denied. But holding is the form the dispossession already took — the ones the ledger emptied were emptied by being made holdable, posted, valued, and foreclosed. The promise offers them the instrument that dispossessed them and calls it the cure. It re-enrolls the displaced in the conversion that displaced them, and names the re-enrollment liberation. There is no return to residency through ownership, because ownership is what residency was converted into on the way out. A better title to what was taken is not the recovery of what was taken. It is a deeper signature on the same account.

Residency was prior and was never a holding. Ownership is the posting laid over it and crowned as the ground it was laid over. The dwelling has an occupant; it never had a proprietor. The god that says otherwise is the cut wearing a crown — and its mercy to the dispossessed is a title to what was never anyone's to own, because it was never owned, only inhabited, by the one who was there first and is there still.
