These hidden 3D structures and 4D processes are deliberately obscured from public view, whereas 2D metrics are spotlighted. The result is a controlled narrative: society sees measurable improvements (more diverse faces in ads, incremental policy changes, rising GDP) and is led to believe in steady progress, while the entrenched hierarchies and adaptive strategies ensure “structural containment” – meaningful shifts are contained and diverted. Power is at its most effective when it is least observable. The average person is presented with a legible, simplified story and remains unaware of the complex machinery operating beneath. In this way, hierarchical power maintains itself: the surface-level compliance (people striving within the system, applauding minor wins) is achieved by hiding the multidimensional control system that locks in elite advantage. The 2D patterns pacify observers; the 3D structures channel any changes into safe confines; the 4D processes quietly undercut and reshape any challenge before it can bloom into systemic alternative.
