The Genesis of Control
The biblical notion of "dominion" has been weaponized to justify the Master's House's fundamentally violent reduction of life's complexity into a simplified predator-prey dynamic, where those claiming divine entitlement position themselves as naturally superior to those they subjugate. What makes this dominator system particularly insidious is how it naturalizes its own violence. Those benefiting from this artificial flattening of reality into predator/prey dynamics only rarely catch glimpses of the Violence inherent in their position. Like fish unaware of water, they mistake their privileged navigation of these lanes for merit rather than recognizing it as the product of systemic constraint and historical violence.
